My cousin and his boy went out hunting this year during Youth Muzzleloader season, and had a successful hunt. Noah, his 7 year old boy, shot his second deer. He actually missed a shot at a real nice 10 pointer and was a little down about it. Of course he said that it was his father’s fault and not his own, but that is expected. He ended up shooting what he thought was a doe, but when they walked up to it, it was a button buck. As soon as I get a picture, I will share it with you all.
Anyone else have any good stories from hunting on this opening weekend of Youth Muzzleloader??? If so, please share with the rest of us.

Man – the kids second deer already?! Wow – congrats to the little man! I think I was a junior or senior in high school by the time I downed my second buck.
